Research Focus
Emergent technologies + the rule of law + legal design
I examine how artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the metaverse challenge existing legal categories, evidence frameworks, and governance architectures — and how the rule of law principles can serve as both an analytical lens and a design standard for technology regulation. Legal design is the practice that holds this together: translating legal complexity into accessible, human-centred instruments and platforms that make governance legible to those it governs.
